| Feb. 7, 1997 - |
Initial installation of the UL Lafayette RAC computing system was successfully
completed. The current configuration of the UL Lafayette RAC reflects the basic
mission of being a testing ground for computer science investigations in areas such as
automatic data sharing, data and model validation, image mining, and distribution queries.

| Aug. 1998 - |
The UL Lafayette RAC appointed Mr. Brent Yantis as the new Director. Mr.
Yantis has the benefit of incorporating his many years of experience and knowledge from
the educational, state and federal government, and private arenas. The University is
confident that Mr. Yantis will be able to bring the RAC to it's heightened potential and
expectations.

| Aug. 1998 - |
The UL Lafayette RAC brings in Mr. Nathan Handley as Project Director.
Mr. Handley comes to the RAC with 5 years of cutting edge technology background, and 4
years of geographic information systems and remotely sensed data project management at an
educational and federal government level.
