Airborne Lidar Technology and Applications - June 20-21 2007


Workshop Objectives:
       The primary objective of this workshop is to educate attendees on
airborne Light Detection and Ranging (lidar) technology and its potential
applications within the Northern Gulf of Mexico landscape. The workshop
will also provide an opportunity to discuss possible collaborations in the
acquisition and application of lidar data, with focus on investigations of
the geomorphological structure, ecological function, and hazard
vulnerability of the northern Gulf Coast.
